I'm looking at the fanworks section and tearing, I didn't realize so many beautiful pieces of art have been created for love of Valentine and Eira/Lost. some I haven't even seen before and omg Cathy why did you not tell me you wrote a fic about Valentine. how could I have missed it. how could I have missed all of this I am a horrible person EXCUSE ME WHILE I SIT IN A CORNER AND CRY

likethegun_lims is open for sign-ups for Round 4! I've already put my name in- you should too! Sure lims contests can be painful and trying on your self-esteem, but I've always had a lot of fun doing this one, despite never making it more than 4 rounds or so. XD The first challenge will be put up in a week or so, so plenty of time to sign up still.

For those of you who've never done a lims before, it stands for 'last icon maker standing' and it's quite like it sounds- everyone who signs up has a week to make an icon from a provided image, and then anonymous voting goes up where everyone votes for their least favorite icon with the reason why they don't like it... and whoever gets the most bad votes gets voted off the island, so to speak. This keeps going until there's only one person left from the original pool of sign-ups.

Like I said, very potentially ego-damaging if you have an ego, but also very exciting! Already a bunch of the top-notch icon makers in SPN fandom have signed up, so competition will be fierce! This lims is a little different from standard because you also vote for your favorite icon too. Oh, and you can vote even if you're not participating.

But it's really not as scary as I've made it sound! And most people in this lims give lots of useful constructive criticism :)
