A much delayed update -- Merry Christmas!
 The best laid plans--
Updating in 'chapter-per-update' schedule just went over board. We're back to update half-a-chapter schedule, and let's hope it'll stay in this reasonable pace.

The update: 20 pages of Chapter Three

Half a chapter, because it's Christmas. And because I thought it's better than nothing till the end of the year.

This seems to be the longest chapter up to date, and many things happen in it -- and many will still happen in the next update.

A bit more info about the world and -- I hope -- more about the characters and things that make them tick. At least some of them. If you happen to completely dislike some of the characters after this update, don't worry. It's just how they are.
And they all make mistakes-- Noone is actually completely guiltless. 

More will be explained as the story progresses, but I can assure you that the other half of the chapter holds some new questions. And a tiny bit of romantic perturbations -- but i wouldn't be myself, if I didn't put in a bit of romance...

Thus, next update will come after the New Year's Day -- be it two pages, five or more (I hope for more), it's quaranteed. Unless my computer drops dead. In which case, I'll probably be dead right beside her...;)

Aaaaahhhh, FINALLY!!!!!!! The saga is moving again! Beautiful work, more "Vogue Manga" then ever ;o) And still they are all fine, well-defined characters. Aberdeen's calm, almost casual manner while he bumps off the intruders is a decidedly nasty touch - I like it ;o) And there's something more and more spooky about that seemingly innocent and naive kid!!! You have an exceptional knack for creating a world that definitely feels DIFFERENT, not just the settings/environment, but these people really think different, act different, feel different. One gets a distinct feeling that it might be very hard to understand those people if one was to meet them (and vice versa), since their psychology is just, well, so different from our way of thinking.

Great storytelling, building exponentially to the climax, and the graphics are fully integrated. The color change from ice blue to hot orange as the action heats up is a fantastic mood-setter. The swirling cobweb-like tendrils of magical energy are real unnerving, quite a refreshing break from the usual "ten-lightbulbs-in-the-air" ;o) Intriguing storyline, getting hotter w/ every page. Such a number of pages, with such quality, is a most impressive effort, I know just how much works goes into something like this!

And that's why I almost feel bad about saying this : pleeeeeeeeeeze get the next installment ready a.s.a.p. *LOL*

Indeed, there is something spooky about Argent. She's more than meets the eyes -- but that's yet to be fully seen.

And yes, these people ARE different, though when it comes to the basic human instincts, they tend to act as we do: protecting those who they hold dear, even if that person is themselves;)

Aberdeen is not a good guy per se, I think. For once, he didn't have to kill anyone... I mean that was the easiest way of dealing with the problem, but still...

New installment is ready, I'm scripting and storyboarding the rest... I should have Chapter Three closed by the end of January.

Wow, I'm impressed by the update! I am glad to see that this site remains alive, and the new pages continue to amaze. I'll be looking forward to what happens next...~David~

Yes, the site still lives and breathes. A bit slowly, I know.

Having a job is great, but when the said job interfears with past-time... Well, that's just cruel.

Fortunatelly, I'm finnishing one large commission and should have enough free time to wrap Chapter Three... By the end of January!
